My name is Amy, and I started this blog to encourage myself through graduate school. Graduate school was supposed to be two years long, and I set out to write to remind myself of all the many things going on in the world besides my master's degree in health/public policy.
A funny thing happened though. Two years turned into more. Plans and directions changed. I realized that although I am interested in numbers, my heart and hands have to be engaged with people. A young man came along who will soon be a husband. And I learned to know myself better.
This blog is simply a chronicle of my journeys. I'm learning as I go why I write.
